These professional League of Legends players are the best bot lane players ever.
The pro scene in League of Legends is what makes the game what it is. This is where the best players in the world compete and set new standards for what is possible in the game. In the more than 10 years that esports have been around, no position has had as much effect as the ADC role. This is because the right positioning in a teamfight often determines who wins the game and much more. The players in the bot lane are the ones who have to step up and push when it really matters.
It’s hard to say who the best League of Legends ADC of all time is because of how long they played, how well they did at their best, and how many titles they won. Over the years, there have been many world-class players who have come and gone. Some of the best players of all time are now mostly forgotten. Who are the best ADC players in LoL?
Honorable Mention – Rekkles
Since 2019, Rekkles has had a few bad years, and it’s hard to say otherwise. His move to G2 Esports in 2020 was bad for both his career and the team. It ended G2’s reign of fear over the LEC and made MAD Lions the new champions, who won both the Spring and Summer titles. But it’s easy to forget how successful Rekkles used to be because of this.
Rekkles has been to the Worlds six times. He didn’t go in 2013 because he was too young. From those, he has come in second place once, made it to the semi-finals once, and reached the quarter-finals three times. On top of that, he made it to the quarterfinals of the MSI in 2018 and had 10 pentakills, only the Vietnamese player Celebrity had more. Even though he hasn’t hit most of these heights in the last few years, his long career and overall success make him more than worthy of a mention.
Viper
Viper is a younger member of the League of Legends ADC Hall of Fame. It took him a while to make a name for himself on the pro scene, but now that he has, he is here to stay. Since he won the World Championship with EDG in 2021, Viper has been thought of as one of, if not the best ADC in the world. Even this year, he has had some great games while trying to lead his very inconsistent Hanwha Life Esports team.
Viper started his career as a rookie on the world-famous Griffin team. He was known for being able to switch between roles and even played magicians like Viktor and Taliyah. He was the second ADC after Imp to get a pentakill in both the LCK and the World Championships, and he is still one of the best players in the world in terms of mechanics.
Jackeylove
Jackeylove is a hard ADC to rank because some people still think he is the best of all time, while others don’t even think he is in the running. This is mostly because of how inconsistently he has done over the last few years. He can easily lead his team with a good 1v9 performance, but he has also lost a series on his own, like against JDG in the LPL Summer 2022 finals.
At his best, however, it is undeniable that Jackeylove was one of the best players in the world in terms of mechanics, which is what makes a top-tier ADC. He has also won a World Championship, made it to two Worlds Semifinals, and won two LPL crowns. Whether you like him or dislike him, Jackeylove can beat almost any player in the game when he’s on. His only flaw is that he is always the same.
Pray
This retired player hasn’t done as much on a world level as some other LoL names. Even though many new fans may not know who Pray is, the reputation he built with all the odds against him is nothing to sneeze at. During his best years, he went to the Worlds in 2013, 2015, and 2016. This made him one of the best ADCs of that time, but he lost in the finals or semi-finals each time to the unstoppable SKT T1 superteam, as well as to TPA in 2012 and SSG in 2017.
From 2016 to 2018, most people thought that Pray was the best ADC in the world after Uzi, and if he hadn’t had such bad luck in the international draw, he could have gone even further. He is also the only player to have won the LCK with three different teams. He is also the second player, after Faker, to get 1,000 and 1,500 LCK kills.
Ruler
Ruler is another bot lane player who is at the top of his game right now. He won his World title in 2017, but he hasn’t slowed down since he beat T1 in the LCK finals in 2022. After a little more than 4 years with GenG, he left to join the JDG superteam, which won the LPL spring and has the ability to go to great heights.
Ruler’s strength is that, unlike some other top ADCs, he can play weakside perfectly, living and leveling up with few resources and jungle attention. He can carry when he needs to, but his ability to switch roles is a huge asset to any team, especially one with as many skilled players as JDG, because the other team never knows who will be the carry.
Deft
Deft is one of the ADCs who has been playing Drive Mad game the longest and is definitely one of the best. He has won an MSI and a World Championship. Even though he wasn’t the most important part of DRX’s run through the 2022 World Championship, he stepped up in many games where Zeka and Kingen couldn’t, and after 25 minutes, he was an unbeatable force.
After going to the same high school and making their debuts just days apart, Deft and Faker’s stories will always be linked, and Deft has often lived in Faker’s shade. He was the second player, after Faker, to hit both 2,000 LCK kills and 600 LCK games. However, Deft is a very talented player in his own right, as his long-awaited Worlds title in 2022 showed.
Bang
Bang is one of the most decorated League of Legends players ever. He is one of only four players to protect their World title, and he is part of the SKT dynasty. Some say he wouldn’t have had as much success without the SKT superteam, but Bang was a very underrated player for most of his career and did some amazing things even though Faker and Bengi were more popular.
Bang moved to the LCS at the end of his career, like many Korean stars. He had some shaky performances, even though he got two top-3 wins, which made many people forget about his past success. But you can’t argue with his success, and he and the SKT superteam will always be in the Hall of Fame.
Uzi
In a life-or-death situation, there has never been a better ADC than Uzi. Most of the best LoL ADC players have lost to Uzi more than once, and many people think he is the best mechanical League of Legends player. When he quit in 2020 because of an injury, he was the pro player with the most wins in the world and had seven pentakills.
Uzi had very high hopes for his support, but his amazing skills on Vayne and Ezreal, his signature picks, made him a player to be feared in the LPL and around the world. He was the first player to get 500 LPL kills, and every season he played in, he had the best CS per minute score. Uzi has a lot of good reasons to be at the top of this list.
